Rhea Chakraborty has revealed she earned Rs 3 lakh per month as an MTV VJ when she was 17 or 18. In a chat with Tanmay Bhat on YouTube, she said she spent the money on cosmetic procedures to "fix" her face. Chakraborty also recalled interviewing Salman Khan as her first celebrity. The actor, who faced intense media scrutiny after Sushant Singh Rajput's death in 2020, had a CBI closure report filed in 2025 concluding no evidence of murder or abetment. Her next project, The Traitors season 2 hosted by Karan Johar, premieres on Prime Video on August 13.
