A helicopter crashed in Rio de Janeiro's Tijuca National Park on Saturday, killing the pilot and three women. Brazilian media report the three women were Colombian sisters on a sightseeing tour. Firefighters said the charred wreckage was found on a steep, forested hillside near Vista Chinesa, a popular landmark. The site was difficult to reach. Rio Mayor Eduardo Cavaliere has asked Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency, ANAC, to immediately tighten oversight of helicopter flights. The crash comes less than two months after a mid-air collision over Rio killed six people, including American singer Oliver Tree. Helicopter tours are a major draw for tourists seeking aerial views of the city.
