# RIR Power Electronics Q1 revenue jumps 29%, PAT doubles

Mumbai-based RIR Power Electronics reported a 29.28% rise in standalone revenue for the first quarter of FY27 to ₹27.16 crore, compared with ₹21.01 crore a year ago. Profit after tax surged 80.59% to ₹3.14 crore. EBITDA margins expanded 357 basis points to 17.32%. Sequentially, PAT more than doubled over the previous quarter. The company secured its first overseas order for 120 thyristor units and showcased railway power electronics at RailTrans Expo 2026. Two research papers on Silicon Carbide technology, in collaboration with Silicon University, were selected at IEEE MWSCAS 2026. RIR also appointed Ankit Shah as CFO and Vivek Patel as independent director.
