# Ronit Roy, Seema Biswas join Salman Khan’s Monster for Eid 2027 2026-08-25T18:18:19+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Actors Ronit Roy and Seema Biswas have joined the cast of Salman Khan's upcoming film Monster, according to an exclusive report from Pinkvilla. The film also stars Nayanthara and is being directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Pinkvilla reports that the makers are aiming for an Eid 2027 release and that Salman Khan is very happy with the film's progress. Telugu360, however, reports that Monster is aimed for an Eid 2026 release in March and that an official announcement is expected soon. The outlet adds that producer Dil Raju is backing the big-budget action drama, and that the shoot is happening in Mumbai without breaks. Telugu360 also notes that with Prabhas' film Spirit delayed, Monster will have a comfortable release window. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The two sources disagree on the release year: Pinkvilla says Eid 2027, while Telugu360 says Eid 2026. Pinkvilla's exclusive casting news adds star power to the project, while Telugu360 focuses on Salman Khan's need for a hit and the film's production momentum. The discrepancy likely stems from either a change in plans or a reporting error. The official statement from the makers, expected soon per Telugu360, will settle the timeline. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - pinkvilla.com (neutral report) Led with exclusive casting news and confirmed release year 2027. - telugu360.com (neutral report) Led with Salman Khan's need for a hit and reported release year 2026.
