RPG Life Sciences has transferred its active pharmaceutical ingredients business to a wholly-owned subsidiary, RPG Active Pharma Limited. Khaitan & Co advised the company on the carve-out and a subsequent investment by private equity firm InvAscent. The transaction was led by managing partner Haigreve Khaitan along with partners Shishir Jose Vayttaden and Aditi Singhvi.
