Telangana ministers Thummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, Adluri Laxman Kumar, and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas inaugurated the Gudicheruvu Bund Park near the Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy Temple in Vemulawada on Thursday. The Rs 12 crore project includes a Lord Shiva statue, Nataraja statue, Sapta Matrika idols, walking track, fountain, amphitheatre, and landscaped gardens. Executed by the Tourism Department through the Vemulawada Temple Area Development Authority, the park aims to boost pilgrim tourism. Officials and temple representatives attended the event. The town, often called Dakshina Kashi, expects the park to offer devotees a blend of spiritual and recreational experience.
