# RTI data shows 10 hit by pellets in July 20 Parliament march

At least 10 people were injured by pellets during the July 20 march to Parliament, according to Right to Information responses from two Delhi hospitals accessed by Trinamool Congress MP Saket Gokhale. Lady Hardinge Medical College reported nine pellet injuries, and Safdarjung Hospital reported one. The Delhi Police had earlier denied using pellet guns. The RTI data contradicts earlier reports of five pellet injuries, Gokhale said. Records are still awaited from AIIMS and RML Hospital. Separately, a general diary entry from Parliament Street police station shows the Rapid Action Force fired two rounds from an anti-riot gun on a deputy commissioner's orders.
