# Rubina Dilaik accuses Asim Riaz of abusive behaviour on Battleground set 2026-08-26T14:41:29+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Actor Rubina Dilaik has accused Asim Riaz of being rude and using abusive language towards the creative team on the set of the fitness reality show Battleground Season 1. Speaking on the channel The4POV, Dilaik said Riaz claimed he was the reason for the show's success and spoke with 'badtameezi' (rudeness) to the crew. She said his behaviour hurt her and that she always respects the team that makes a show work. Riaz has not yet responded to the allegations. He was the first runner-up on Bigg Boss 13 in 2019 and later appeared as a captain and mentor on Battleground. He was expelled from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 after a fight with host Rohit Shetty and fellow contestants, and had blamed the production team and safety crew after failing to complete a stunt. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Dilaik's remarks are the latest in a series of public fallouts involving Riaz, whose combative on-screen persona has often spilled into real life. The pattern, blaming production after a failed stunt on Khatron Ke Khiladi, and now being accused of abusing the creative team on Battleground, raises a question about how reality TV handles talent that generates TRP but also disruption. The channel and production house behind Battleground have not commented, and no formal complaint has been reported. The next flashpoint may come if Riaz responds publicly, as he has done in his ongoing social media feud with ex-girlfriend Himanshi Khurana. ## Coverage - hindustantimes.com Reports Dilaik's allegations without commentary or endorsement, includes Riaz's past controversies as context.
