# Ryan Gosling, Kit Connor, Sadie Sink join new superhero guard

Ryan Gosling will play Ghost Rider in a Marvel standalone film, directed by Shawn Levy and slated for 2028. He announced the casting at San Diego Comic-Con in July, years after fan campaigns. Nicolas Cage previously played the role in two films. In other superhero castings, Kit Connor is reportedly being eyed for Cyclops in the new X-Men film, though Marvel has not formally confirmed it. Nicholas Galitzine stars as He-Man in the live-action 'Masters of the Universe' released this June. Sadie Sink plays Jean Grey in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', released July 31. David Jonsson will play an adult Prince T’Challa II in 'Black Panther 3', set for December 2028.
