# Saba Ali Khan says she almost married at 19

Jewellery designer Saba Ali Khan said she was introduced to potential marriage partners from the age of 18 or 19 and almost married someone in Kolkata at 19. Speaking on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s show, she said the match did not work out because she was not ready. Saba, elder sister of actors Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan, also said she never had a boyfriend. Saba said she remained open to marriage but did not find someone compatible. She recalled her late father, former India cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, as charismatic, humble and responsible, and said he taught her independence. She is the eldest daughter of Pataudi and actor Sharmila Tagore.
