# SAI Bhopal Marks 80th Independence Day With Athlete Felicitations

The Sports Authority of India’s Central Regional Centre in Bhopal celebrated the 80th Independence Day on Saturday with flag hoisting, national songs and the national anthem. Regional Director Abhisek Singh Chauhan hoisted the flag in the presence of officers, coaches, athletes and support staff. The centre felicitated prominent SAI athletes and members of the Indian Oil National Hockey Team for their sporting achievements. Housekeeping, ground and horticultural staff were also recognised for maintaining the campus and supporting training activities. Assistant Director Rajat Sharma delivered the vote of thanks. The event included messages urging young athletes to stay committed to excellence.
