# Sai Sudharsan ruled out of Sri Lanka Tests with foot injury

Sai Sudharsan is out of the two-Test series against Sri Lanka starting August 15 in Galle. The left-handed No. 3 batter failed to recover from a foot injury, with sources telling Times Now he was experiencing toe pain while running. He was already undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. Jasprit Bumrah was earlier ruled out of the same series. The BCCI is expected to name a replacement soon. Sarfaraz Khan, who has been at the Centre of Excellence for fitness assessment, and Shaik Rasheed, who recently toured with India A, are the frontrunners. Devdutt Padikkal, who scored a century in the warm-up match, is also in contention.
