# Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s 7 Dogs to hit Indian theatres August 21

The international action thriller 7 Dogs, starring Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt in cameo roles, will release in Indian theatres on August 21, 2026. The film, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, is a Saudi Arabian production. It follows an Interpol officer who must team up with a jailed syndicate member to stop a new drug called Pink Lady from flooding the Middle East. The lead roles are played by Egyptian actors Karim Abdel-Aziz and Ahmed Ezz, alongside Monica Bellucci and Giancarlo Esposito. Salman Khan told Variety India that the film is designed for a big-screen experience and praised the ambition of Arab cinema. The action sequences are designed by Stephen Dunlevy, who worked on John Wick and Mad Max: Fury Road. 7 Dogs will release in Hindi and English. Khan and Dutt previously shared screen space in films such as Saajan (1991) and Chal Mere Bhai (2000).
