Samsung has received US FDA clearance for a hearing aid feature on its Galaxy Buds. The software, developed with Australia's National Acoustic Laboratories and Samsung Medical Centre, offers a Hearing Test using pure-tone audiometry to create an audiogram. A Hearing Aid mode then amplifies faint sounds and cuts background noise based on the user's profile. The rollout will start with Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro in the US and select markets in Q4 2026.
