# Sangram Singh to face Malta’s Wallochon in London MMA bout on 19 December 2026-10-21T15:01:10+00:00 | Sports | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Former Indian wrestler Sangram Singh will fight Malta’s Wallochon in an MMA bout at FightStar Championship 39 on 19 December at The O2 in London. The event is billed by Kalinga TV as a Commonwealth title contest. Since his MMA debut in September 2024, Singh has remained undefeated with four wins, including a 90-second victory over Pakistan’s Ali Raza Nasir and an 80-second knockout of Pakistan’s Mohammed Abid Ali in July. Singh, a two-time Commonwealth Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, said, ‘Age is just a number. What matters is your discipline, dedication and willingness to keep challenging yourself.’ ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both rediff.com and Kalinga TV report almost identical facts from the same wire sources, PTI and ANI. Rediff.com leads with the bout's venue and date, while Kalinga TV adds a fuller account of Sangram Singh's recent wins, including his 80-second knockout on 19 July, and quotes the fighter directly. Neither outlet introduces any political or institutional slant, the coverage is uniform straight reporting of an upcoming sports event. The key open question is how Singh, at 40, will perform against Wallochon in his first London bout on 19 December at The O2. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - rediff.com (neutral report) Straight PTI wire copy, no slant. - kalingatv.com (neutral report) ANI wire copy plus fighter quote, no slant.
