# Sunny Deol Returned to Ikka Set After Dharmendra’s Death

Sunny Deol returned to the final schedule of Netflix film Ikka days after his father, veteran actor Dharmendra, died, co-star Sanjeeda Shaikh told Hindustan Times. She said Deol came to the set, completed his work and left, despite being entitled to take time off. Shaikh described the experience as a lesson in professional discipline. She also said working with Deol, Ajay Devgn and Akshaye Khanna taught her the value of humility and consistency. Ikka, directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, also features Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome and Sanjeeda. Dharmendra died on November 24, 2025, shortly before his 90th birthday.
