The Jos Buttler-led side chased 159 in 98 balls, with opener Tim Seifert scoring 72 off 38 to earn Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament awards. Goenka, who holds a 70 per cent stake, posted on X celebrating the victory. He previously owned Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL and later bought Lucknow Super Giants for a record Rs 7,090 crore. LSG have not yet reached an IPL final. Times Now reports that Buttler praised Goenka's long-term investment in Manchester cricket infrastructure.
