# Saudi prince’s Serene yacht has a hidden cabin to ease seasickness

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s 439-foot superyacht Serene contains a private sea cabin built low in the hull to reduce movement during rough voyages, The Times of India reports. Positioned near the yacht’s centre on Deck Two, the Balinese-inspired room is considered one of the vessel’s most stable sleeping spaces. Its shell door folds into a sea-level balcony when the yacht is anchored. Built by Italy’s Fincantieri and launched in 2011, Serene is valued at $450 million and has seven decks, 12 guest cabins and room for 24 people. Its features include stabilisers, two helicopter pads, a submarine hangar, an underwater viewing lounge and a snow room cooled to minus 11 degrees Celsius.
