# Security tightened for PM Modi’s Bhogapuram airport inauguration

Security is tight in Visakhapatnam ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on August 1 to inaugurate the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram. About 5,000 police personnel have been deployed, and a no-fly zone is in place for either 48 or 72 hours, depending on the source. Drones, paragliders and microlight aircraft are banned within a 5-km radius. The public meeting is expected to draw two to three lakh people. Modi will also inaugurate projects worth Rs 17,912 crore, including an aviation hub and a skill centre. Kuchipudi and Dhimsa dances are planned to welcome him.
