# Shah Rukh Khan’s King Telugu release buzz after standee surfaces 2026-11-07T04:27:02+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets A Telugu standee of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King has appeared at a theatre, fuelling speculation about a possible Telugu dubbed version. Both 123telugu.com and m9.news report the visual cue, but note that no official confirmation from the makers has been received yet. Directed by Siddharth Anand, King is a gangster action drama set for release on 24 December 2026. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan alongside Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and others, with a special song featuring Kareena Kapoor. The song Tu Mil Jaaye has found acceptance after initial criticism. Shah Rukh Khan's earlier films Jawan and Pathaan were released in Telugu, while Dunki was not. Both outlets suggest a Telugu version would help reach a wider audience in the two Telugu states. Until the makers announce it, the Telugu release plans remain unconfirmed. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both 123telugu.com and m9.news present the Telugu standee as the only evidence of a possible dubbed version, and both explicitly state the lack of an official announcement, making the coverage uniform on the core fact. 123telugu.com adds the past precedent of Jawan and Pathaan having Telugu releases while Dunki did not, giving readers a pattern to assess likelihood. m9.news frames the same point as business logic: a Telugu version would help the film reach a wider audience. Neither outlet adopts a critical or sensational tone on this story. The balanced reading is that the standee is a strong signal but not a confirmation, and the release on 24 December 2026 remains the firm date for the Hindi version. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - 123telugu.com (neutral report) Reports standee and lack of confirmation, adds past release pattern without spin. - m9.news (neutral report) Reports standee and lack of confirmation, frames business rationale without drama.
