Corroboration: 3 independent outlets

Shriya Saran posted a selfie with Rajinikanth on Instagram, captioned "When you meet the legend, photo toh banta hai." The photo shows Rajinikanth in his look from the upcoming film Dharman, prompting speculation she may appear in a cameo 19 years after they starred together in Sivaji: The Boss (2007). Neither Shriya nor the production house Raaj Kamal Films International has confirmed the casting. Dharman, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, is in its third shooting schedule in Hyderabad and also stars Simran and Raashii Khanna. Rajinikanth is also preparing for Jailer 2's release on October 15. Shriya is meanwhile set to appear in Drishyam 3, releasing on October 2.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

All three sources report the same viral selfie and cameo speculation identically, with no editorial slant. The coverage is uniform straight reporting: the fact of the photo, the Sivaji nostalgia, the absence of official confirmation, and Dharman's production details. Since neither the production house nor the actress has commented, the news cycle is driven purely by fan inference. The actual test will be a formal casting announcement from Raaj Kamal Films International or Ashwath Marimuthu, which could come during the third shooting schedule now underway in Hyderabad.
