The musical romance is set in 1990s UK and explores the rise of Bhangra-fusion pop. Chaturvedi plays a drummer, while Agnihotri plays a singer. Bahl is expected to start shooting in September in the UK, with a wrap by end of 2024. The film is slated for a mid-2027 release. It is an original script and unrelated to the Hollywood film 'CODA'. An official announcement is pending. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Vikas Bahl's 'Tribe' is his first directorial venture after the 2023 release of 'Ganapath'. His collaboration with Siddhant Chaturvedi on 'Dil Ka Darwaza Khol Na Darling' remains unreleased. The film's setting in 1990s UK Punjabi music mirrors the real rise of diaspora artists like Apache Indian and Bally Sagoo, who blended bhangra with Western pop. Alizeh Agnihotri, Salman Khan's niece, debuted in 2023 with 'Farrey', which had a modest box office. The mid-2027 release window suggests a long post-production schedule. The official announcement will confirm the cast and shooting timeline. ## Coverage - timesnownews.com Leads with casting news from a Bollywood Hungama report, no slant on government or political figures This brief was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
