Sify Infinit Spaces, India's first commercial data centre operator, plans to raise up to $4 billion through debt and public markets over the next four years to expand capacity. The firm will initially fund 10-20% growth via internal cash flows before tapping debt, an IPO, and follow-on institutional offers, CEO Sharad Agarwal told livemint.com. Agarwal warned of a potential price war as operators rapidly add capacity and cut prices to attract customers. The IPO, for which Sify Infinit filed a draft prospectus in October seeking Rs 3,700 crore, has been delayed due to weak market conditions, Bloomberg reported. The company reported FY25 operating revenue of Rs 1,428.4 crore and net profit of Rs 126.4 crore.
