# Simultala school entrance test held peacefully in Samastipur 2026-10-25T04:41:22+00:00 | Governance | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet The preliminary entrance examination for Class 6 (session 2027-28) at Simultala Residential School in Jamui was conducted peacefully on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at the RSB Inter School centre in Samastipur district headquarters. The exam was held under the aegis of the Bihar School Examination Committee. A total of 186 children from across the district appeared for the test. The examination ran from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, with candidates allowed entry only until 12:30 pm, half an hour before it began. The administration’s alertness ensured the test remained completely free of malpractice. Strict adherence to the scheduled timings and rules was enforced throughout. The next step for candidates will be the announcement of results and subsequent admission procedures. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The peaceful and malpractice-free conduct of this single exam centre does not reveal how many children were registered but absent, or how other centres across the state performed. The focus on administrative alertness suggests the authorities were on high alert after past irregularities. For the 186 children who appeared, the next concrete event will be the release of the merit list, which determines entry into a prestigious residential school with limited seats. ## Coverage - bhaskar.com Straight factual account of exam conduct, no framing bias This brief was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
