Another 32 beneficiaries received appointments under the Compassionate Appointment Rules SRO-43 and the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme. Sinha said efforts were under way to identify all terror victims’ families eligible for jobs. Speaking on the seventh anniversary of August 5, Sinha credited the 2019 abrogation of Article 370 with ending what he called discriminatory arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir. He said marginalised groups, tribals, displaced people from PoK and Chhamb, and refugees gained citizenship, voting and property rights.
