He had been working for others on a modest income when she suggested he open his own shop and handed over the money she had been saving. Sohail sells shirts, T-shirts, jeans, and bermudas at prices starting around Rs 200, 300, sourcing stock from Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, Jalgaon, and Indore. The business has become his family's main source of income.
