Nagaraju was shifted from Rajamahendravaram Central Prison and produced before a Vijayawada court before questioning began. Nagaraju is the main accused in the alleged custodial death of 25-year-old Gade Sai Krishna, who died at Krishna Lanka police station in May. The SIT has also arrested four constables. The Supreme Court said questioning only at the prison could hamper the probe and allowed interrogation at a designated centre or another secure facility.
