Five people were killed and one critically injured in a Michigan shooting on Friday. The suspected gunman, Chad Hickman, 39, was found dead after a manhunt, raising the death toll to six. Michigan State Police arrived at a Missaukee County home at 11:40 am local time and found three dead and one critically hurt. Investigators later found a fourth body at another residence and a fifth victim inside a separate home. Hickman's vehicle was discovered near Whitlock Lake; he and another person were found dead there. No motive or victims' identities have been released. The Times of India reports, citing The Guardian, that Hickman was going through a divorce and had a prior misdemeanour sentence in 2024.
