The doctors, from districts including Nagaon, Lakhimpur and Nalbari, are currently serving in Alengmora (West Jorhat), Teok and Kamarbandha (Golaghat), and will move to Sivasagar and Charaideo from Tuesday. Over 1,000 people were attended to on Sunday alone. Health Minister Ashok Singhal said no outbreak of any major disease has been reported so far, though skin infections are common as people remain in water and slush. Dermatologists are treating those affected.
