# SkyDrive’s eVTOL to debut in India by 2028

Japanese flying car maker SkyDrive Inc plans to commercialise its eVTOL aircraft in Japan and India by 2028, starting with medical logistics, especially organ transportation. Founder and CEO Tomohiro Fukuzawa told reporters the company has already performed over 300 flight tests and is pursuing certification within two years. SkyDrive has partnered with Air India and Suzuki to study use cases in India. It has received about 450 pre-orders globally, including 50 from India. The company is also considering future manufacturing in India, potentially for exports to the Middle East and Africa.
