# Sorab Bedi defends 24-year age gap with girlfriend Delnaz Daruwala 2026-10-20T06:41:35+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Actor and model Sorab Bedi has been trolled online after posting intimate photographs with Delnaz Daruwala, described by media reports as being 24 years older than him. The images, which showed the couple kissing and cuddling, were widely shared on social media, drawing comments branding them a mother-son duo. Bedi later archived the photos, saying he did so to protect Daruwala from abuse, and insisted he could restore them anytime. In a message on his Instagram broadcast channel on Saturday, 17 October, Bedi defended the relationship, saying: ‘I find her very hot… I have never seen a more beautiful girl.’ He added that he would marry Daruwala and that his family had no objection. He also denied cheating on ex-girlfriend Nihalika Tiwari, stating they were only trying to live together and split amicably a month before he posted the new photos. Daruwala is a fashion coordinator and co-founder of ‘The Wedding Chicks’. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both aajtak.in and tv9hindi.com report the same basic fact: actor Sorab Bedi faces online trolling after posting intimate photos with Delnaz Daruwala, who media reports say is 24 years his senior. Aajtak.in leads with Bedi's own heated defence of the relationship, quoting him calling Daruwala ‘hot’ and saying he would marry her, while tv9hindi.com focuses on identifying Daruwala, her work in fashion coordination, her friendship with Malaika Arora, and stays at arm's length from any judgement. The coverage is overwhelmingly uniform across the two outlets: both report the trolls' comments and Bedi's response, differing only in where they place emphasis. The story is a celebrity-gossip item with no governance or policy dimension, the only concrete next step mentioned is Bedi saying he can restore the archived photos whenever he chooses. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - aajtak.in (neutral report) Leads with Bedi's defensive quotes, frames story as trolling controversy - tv9hindi.com (neutral report) Leads with Daruwala's identity and background, frames as profile piece This brief was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
