Former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly and his wife Dona have received death threat letters, prompting a Kolkata Police investigation. A complaint filed at Thakurpukur Police Station on Tuesday states Ganguly's office received two letters on Monday containing explicit threats to kill the couple and harm people close to them. Hindustan Times reports the sender is identified as 'Arun' and the letters originated from Belgharia in North 24 Parganas district. Police say threatening letters had been arriving for about six months but were initially not taken seriously. Investigators are examining the courier trail and a mobile number linked to the sender.
