Projects valued at Rs 70,865 crore are in the pipeline, the zone said in a press release carried by Hindustan Times. It covers four divisions, 3,532 route kilometres and 6,455 track kilometres. The zone said it has commissioned yard and signalling works, installed Kavach on nearly 100 locomotives and plans its first 100-km Kavach section by the end of 2026. It reported 29.4 million originating passengers, Rs 2,493 crore in overall originating earnings and 100 million tonnes of annual freight loading.
