SpaceX’s second-quarter revenue rose 92% in its first post-IPO earnings report, beating analyst expectations by about $1 billion. Starlink subscribers doubled in a year to 12 million, while its revenue reached $4.29 billion, according to Hindustan Times. The company’s net loss narrowed to $541 million, but capital spending exceeded $18 billion, with more than 86% directed to artificial intelligence. Shares fell more than 8% after the results, The Hindu reports, while Hindustan Times puts SpaceX’s decline since its first trading day at 22%. The company’s rocket business recorded $962 million in revenue and a $542 million operating loss. Starship remains central to its plans, but five of its 13 launches have failed or faced serious flight concerns. Musk has said the next launch is planned for later this month.
