The police response vehicle was heading to Gaur City-2 when the SUV hit it from behind around 11.15 pm. Home guard Kapil Kumar, 40, died during treatment. Constable Praveen Kumar, 36, is stable. Police arrested the 34-year-old SUV driver and seized the vehicle, said Priyashri Pal, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Wave City.
