# Spider-Man crosses Rs 530 crore in India; Awarapan 2 opens strong

Marvel's 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' has collected an estimated Rs 530.08 crore gross in India after 15 days, according to Sacnilk. The Tom Holland film earned Rs 5.40 crore net on Day 15, a 16.3% drop from the previous day. Its second-week net collection was approximately Rs 108.65 crore. The film now faces competition from Emraan Hashmi's 'Awarapan 2', releasing August 14. The sequel has recorded advance booking gross of Rs 5.86 crore for Day 1 across 8,619 shows, with nearly 1.94 lakh tickets sold. Other new releases include Sunny Deol's 'Batwara 1947' and Hollywood film 'The End of Oak Street' on IMAX.
