# Srisailam Temple to Hold Varuna Yagam From August 7 to 11 2026-08-06T06:15:44+00:00 | India | Indian Opinion Desk The Srisailam temple will conduct the Varuna Yaga Sahitha Sahasra Ghatabhishekam from August 7 to 11. Priests will perform Varuna Yagam, Rudra Homam, Varuna Sukta recitations and Varuna japam. Special pujas are planned for Lord Mallikarjuna and Goddess Bhramaramba. Rituals for Krishna and abhishekams for other deities will be held on August 10. The Purnahuti is scheduled for August 11. Several services will be suspended because of the expected rush. Ganapati, Rudra, Mrityunjaya and Chandi Homams, along with rituals at the Vruddha Mallikarjuna shrine, will stop from August 9 to 11. Sparsha Darshan will also be restricted.
