GCCs have already leased more than 123 million square feet across the country's top nine cities between 2022 and the first half of 2026. Currently, 94 per cent of India's 2.36 million GCC professionals work in six tier-I cities, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi-NCR and Pune. The next phase of growth is expected to extend into tier-II and tier-III cities through hub-and-spoke models driven by lower costs and policy incentives. Technology, banking and finance, and engineering accounted for 61 per cent of GCC leasing.
