# States can apply for BHAVYA industrial parks from June 1

States can start applying from June 1 for BHAVYA, a Rs 33,660 crore scheme to build 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across six years. The Union Cabinet approved the scheme in March. The first phase will select 50 proposals through two rounds: the first from June 1 to July 31 and the second from August 1 to September 30. Non-hilly states need at least 100 acres of contiguous land; hilly states, the northeast, and smaller states need 25 acres. Up to 20 parks may be developed on 500-1,000 acres. Land can come from states, private developers, or CPSEs.
