Stefon Diggs is expected to join the Washington Commanders on a one-year contract worth up to $12 million, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. The four-time Pro Bowl receiver will give quarterback Jayden Daniels another established target alongside Terry McLaurin. Diggs was released by the New England Patriots after recording 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns in 17 regular-season games. The move has revived speculation that Washington could also pursue Trevon Diggs, the former Dallas Cowboys cornerback. Trevon shared the NFL’s announcement on Instagram with a praying-hands emoji. He previously played under Commanders coach Dan Quinn in Dallas, but there is no indication Washington is preparing an immediate move.
