India's FMCG brands recorded marginally stronger consumer reach in 2025, with total Consumer Reach Points (CRPs) rising to 129 billion from 123 billion in 2024, according to Kantar Worldpanel's Brand Footprint India 2026 report. CRP measures how often shoppers choose a brand, combining population, penetration and purchase frequency. Parle retained its position as India's most chosen in-home FMCG brand for the 14th consecutive year, followed by Britannia, Amul, Clinic Plus and Surf Excel. Sunrise jumped eight places to enter the top 50 at 48th, with 588 million CRPs, an 18% increase driven by expansion into eastern markets. Patanjali ranked 12th with 2.493 billion CRPs, up 11%, aided by entry into biscuits and noodles. The report found that 83% of large brands grew their CRPs, compared with 56% of small brands.
