Economic services, including infrastructure, industry, energy, agriculture and development, received the largest share at ₹45,568.63 crore, about 77 percent of the total. Samajwadi Party and Congress members pushed for a Rule 311 discussion on alleged theft of donations from the Ram temple in Ayodhya, and sloganeering forced two adjournments before the House reconvened and passed the bill. Speaker Satish Mahana had earlier addressed the previous day's suspension of Samajwadi Party MLA Sachin Yadav, and Congress legislator Aradhana Mishra argued for lifting the suspension, calling it Yadav's first offence.
