Barandbench reports that Senior Advocate Devadatt Kamat, appearing for the lawyers, said one advocate was arrested after nearly 200 people barged into his house at 1.50 am before any FIR was registered, and he remained in custody for 40 days before the High Court granted relief. Kamat said the developer had filed three civil suits against the lawyer, and a second FIR was later registered alleging an assault from 2025.
