The woman alleged that Reddy befriended her when she approached him regarding a case, recorded videos of her, and threatened her. Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar suspended Reddy on July 28. The victim has since submitted a fresh complaint to senior officials, alleging that certain police officers are supporting Reddy by carrying out a negative campaign against her.
