# Swiatek, Sabalenka advance at Canadian Open as Eala exits doubles

Iga Swiatek reached the Canadian Open fourth round with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Viktorija Golubic in 66 minutes, Telengana Today reports. Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula also progressed, beating Shuai Zhang and Kamilla Rakhimova respectively. Sabalenka’s 6-3, 6-4 victory took her to 25-1 on hard courts this season. Alexandra Eala defeated Alycia Parks 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 to reach the singles third round, two days after winning her first WTA singles title in Washington. The 20-year-old Filipina later exited the doubles draw with Venus Williams after losing to Liudmila Samsonova and Miyu Kato in the opening round. Amanda Anisimova also advanced with a comeback win over Nikola Bartunkova.
