# Tamannaah Bhatia breaks silence on Annu Kapoor’s ‘dudhiya badan’ remark 2026-10-29T04:02:02+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 4 independent outlets Tamannaah Bhatia has responded for the first time to actor Annu Kapoor's 2025 comment describing her as having a ‘dudhiya badan’ (milky body). Speaking at NDTV Profit Ignite 2026 on Wednesday, 28 October, she said she chooses what to focus on. “I don't even see these things. I focus on my work, on my acting career,” she said. Kapoor made the remark on Shubhankar Mishra's YouTube channel after watching her song ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from the film ‘Stree 2’. He said her performance helped children sleep, calling it a blessing. The comments drew widespread criticism as misogynistic and sexist. Bhatia said she approaches acting as a service and chooses to filter out distractions. Her latest film ‘The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest’ released on 25 September 2026. ## Indian Opinion Analysis All four sources carry Tamannaah Bhatia's reply to Annu Kapoor's remark in near-identical wire-style quotes, making this a case of uniform straight reporting. The only variation is that some outlets, such as Times Now and Indian Express, provide fuller detail on the original 2025 controversy, including the host's prompting and Kapoor's framing of his remark as a blessing. None of the sources adopt a critical or supportive editorial stance toward either Bhatia or Kapoor, each simply reports her statement and the background. The coverage remains neutral and event-driven, leaving no substantive difference to analyse beyond the length of the background recapped. The next step is the natural public and industry reaction to her statement, which the sources do not name. ## Coverage Coverage: 4 sources, 4 neutral - timesofindia.indiatimes.com (neutral report) Straight news report of her statement, no slant - ndtv.com (neutral report) Brief wire-style report, no editorialising - timesnownews.com (neutral report) Framed as a 'fitting reply' but otherwise neutral - indianexpress.com (neutral report) Neutral report recapping controversy and her response This brief was synthesised by AI from the 4 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
