The Economic Times reports that he had considered visiting Bengaluru for talks, hoping for a positive outcome. Vijay has separately invited all Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs from Tamil Nadu to a meeting on August 8 in Chennai to discuss the proposed Delimitation Bill. The DMK says it will attend only if the government first convenes a Cauvery meeting.
