Tanzid Hasan became the first Bangladeshi to score a Test century in Australia as the visitors reached 351-6 at stumps on day two in Darwin, taking a 153-run lead. He made 100 off 188 balls, adding 102 runs with Mominul Haque and 93 with captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, who scored 84. Bangladesh, ranked ninth in Tests, are playing their first Test in Australia since 2003. Australia were bowled out for 198 on day one. Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon struggled to contain the tourists in warm, tropical conditions.
