Teja Sajja's fantasy adventure film Mirai has entered the top 10 Indian films in Japan based on day one advance bookings, ahead of its theatrical release on August 21. Greatandhra.com reports that the film is closing in on Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai and S.S. Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 in the rankings, with two days still left before release. Telugu360.com reports that Mirai has gone past the advance bookings of Baahubali 2, Tiger Zinda Hai and Dhurandhar 2, reaching the seventh position alongside films like RRR, Kalki 2898 AD, Devara, Pushpa 2 and Saaho. The film, produced by People Media Factory and directed by Karthik Gattamneni, was released in India on September 12, 2025. The Japanese version is titled Mirai: Warrior of Destiny. Only five Telugu films have made it into Japan's top 10 Indian films based on opening-day advance bookings, according to greatandhra.com. A sequel is currently in production.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Both sources report similar facts, but their framings differ. Greatandhra.com leads with the pre-release ranking achievement and the possibility of climbing further, while Telugu360.com emphasises the film's advance bookings surpassing major hits and Teja Sajja's growing fanbase.
