# Telangana entrusts HMDA with TDR in CURE, PURE areas

The Telangana government has authorised the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority to issue Transferable Development Rights for projects in the CURE and Peri Urban Region limits and for land under Secunderabad Cantonment Board. The orders, issued as GOMs 218 on Friday, aim to streamline TDR use for lands surrendered or required for HMDA projects. The government has directed HMDA to process all TDR certificates online only and to share copies with the concerned municipal corporation, urban local body, or Future City Development Authority. The BuildNow system will be updated to handle TDR accounting and utilisation, the order said.
